London Harness Horse Parade, Easter Monday 2010

Over 140 turnouts participated in the London Harness Horse Parade on Easter Monday. Shetlands, Shires, Friesians, Welsh ponies and Donkeys pulling an array of carriages, traditional, modern and agricultural formed an impressive display as they underwent veterinary and farriery checks prior to the show judge's inspection. The afternoon presentations in front of a packed grandstand preceded the show drive. Pictured is Liz Howe driving Goodgollymissmolly, put to a spindle back gig.

Login Ginny made her debut into the showring a winning one. Greatly pleasing owners Liz Howe and John Hecks, Ginny won the Mountain and Moorland foal class then followed up by winning the Shetland Youngstock class. Not bad work for a first attempt and a great Christmas present from this little filly who was purchased at Reading Sales in October.
