At Penrith show Melinda of Mawbray {pictured] won another best yearling trophy. Judge Mr J.W. Wilson chose P&S Atkinson's Oxendale Kayman as Champion with Mrs B Johnstone's Ravenside Truly Inspiring as reserve. Hareghyll What a Beauty shown by Mrs A.M. Blencarn was junior champion and Melissa of Mawbray was reserve.The miniature champion was Mrs M. Longley's Midcalder Diamond Dancer.
However the star attraction of the day for spectators was a tiny miniature foal Bleach Green Tarquen ... as well as the Wilson tartan, of course!!!
