Shelcroft Isabelle, won the Shetland 3 Year Old and Over class as well as Non-welsh M&M Reserve Champion and Best Shetland rosette at Bucks County Show on 26th August. It was the first time I have shown Issy at County level and I was delighted with her results.

Cotmullion Hollyberry continued her winning run this bank holiday, claiming the miniature 2/3 year old fillies class at Edenbridge for owners Liz Howe and John Hecks (15 entries). Well supported classes with ponies from throughout the southern counties, despite a heavy downpour of rain just as showing commenced.

Reserve was Mariella of Mawbray pictured with Melvin of Mawbray, winner of a fourth successive best foal rosette. At the junior level, LotusPoint Sahara was champion and Melissa of Mawbray was reserve. S. Brennan had the miniature champion.

Melissa of Mawbray is congratulated on winning her first championship at only her second show. Sadly judge Mr Jeff McMaster had an easy day because the Mawbray stud won all in hand classes virtually unopposed at Gosforth Show. Mrs Alison Day's 26 year old Mr Merle of Mawbray was best ridden [rider:Maddi Hunter] and best gelding.

Mahina of Mawbray was reserve champion at Gosforth Show. |
